Who I am

My name is Kaylee Turner. I am a mother to four wonderful children and a wife to a supportive husband. My background in the legal field started with a custody battle for my eldest daughter. It is an ongoing case that has taken over five years to reach the point we are at today.

In 2017, I graduated from Northwest Nazarene University with a bachelor’s in Criminal Justice. I took time from school to focus on my growing family. In 2021, the case with my daughter got to the point where I knew I needed to become more knowledgeable about the legal field. I began researching and trying to learn as much about family law and court procedures as possible. This is when I discovered paralegals and what they do. I enrolled in a local program and graduated in 2024 with an associate in Paralegal Studies from Spokane Community College.

My driving purpose was initially to understand my daughter’s case, but that purpose has transformed into something bigger. I want to help other parents who are in the position I was, dealing with a potentially confusing and scary custody case and needing help.

Lawyers are expensive, and in certain areas, they are the best choice, but a lawyer is not the only option for getting help.

I encourage you to reach out; if I can help you, I would love the opportunity. If I feel you need more help than what I can offer you, I will not hesitate to inform you of this fact.

I am not a lawyer, nor am I pretending to be one. I cannot and will not give legal advice, but I will let you know when you need to consult an attorney.

What I can do is inform you of what the law says so that you can make the best decision for your circumstance, I can help with filling out legal paperwork, drafting contracts, researching case laws to point you in the right direction, and more.
